Pip Edwards is glued to her phone as she goes for a walk in Sydney’s eastern suburbs

She was last spotted in the midst of a very tense phone call following her split from Michael Clarke. 

But Pip Edwards, 40, cut a more serene figure on Sunday as she stepped out for her usual stroll in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. 

Glued to her phone, the activewear designer appeared relaxed as she pounded the pavement in skin-tight activewear.

Her trim physique was on display in a white crop-top and wet-look black leggings, both from her own activewear range P.E. Nation. 

She accessorised her look with platform runners, kooky square-frame sunglasses, gold drop earrings and a matching wrist-watch. 

The age-defying mother-of-one appeared to go makeup-free and pulled her bleach-blonde locks into a no-fuss chignon.  

The sighting comes two days after Pip was seen looking furious while shouting down the phone in Bondi.  

She gestured wildly as she walked down Bondi’s famous promenade and didn’t seem bothered about other people overhearing her.

By the end of the exchange, the businesswoman looked ready to hang up the phone in frustration without saying goodbye. 

Just hours before the photos were taken, a source told Daily Mail Australia that Michael had ended their fling because he couldn’t handle the media attention.

Rumours first emerged the pair were seeing each other in February, after the retired cricketer, 39, announced his split from his wife of seven years, Kyly Clarke.

The Clarkes ended their marriage in September, but didn’t announce their separation until five months later. They share custody of four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee. 

When news of a blossoming relationship surfaced, Michael and Pip both denied they were are anything more than friends.

They told Daily Mail Australia in February they had been friends for 12 years and were simply working on a project together.  

Pip also insisted the rumours were ‘absolutely unfounded and untrue’.

Meanwhile, Michael’s P.A. Sasha Armstrong downplayed the whispers, which had been circulating across Sydney’s eastern suburbs for months.

‘Michael has known Pip for over a decade and is currently working with both Pip and Claire [Tregoning, co-founder of P.E Nation] on a special project,’ Sasha said. 

The pair have been spotted together on several occasions over the past two months, and were most recently seen taking a stroll in the harbourside suburb of Rose Bay on March 22. 

A spokesperson for Pip said their previous statement stands that Pip and Michael are friends ‘and that is as far as their relationship goes’.
