Married At First Sight’s Jo McPharlin showcased her staggering weight loss as she promoted Jules Robinson’s new shapewear brand Figur on Saturday.

The 42-year-old shared a picture wearing a pair of high-waisted shorts from Figur’s debut collection under her leggings, looking slimmer than ever before.

She praised the ‘seriously tight’ piece of shapewear for ‘holding all the wobbly bits in place’ – after recently admitting she’s trying to tone up following her weight loss.

The mum-of-two has gradually slimmed down over the last two years by cutting out junk food and alcohol while also staying active.

Last week, Jo, who rose to fame on MAFS in 2018, admitted she has been reluctant to detail her weight loss to fans because of her lack of health and fitness qualifications.

She also said she has not lost any weight for months now, and is simply trying to tone up and maintain her current size.

‘I am just a mum to two beautiful children. What works for me may not work for you. I have been dedicated, strict and everything mentally I wanted to be,’ she said.

‘That’s how I’m achieving my goals. No surgery, no major story to it. It’s been bloody hard work, mentally and emotionally. Every single day I want certain food, but I look at my two beautiful children and I want a better quality of life for everybody.

‘I’ve stopped junk food, all of my carbs and the majority of alcohol. It’s a lifestyle change. I’ve been blessed with losing weight, but maintaining it is the hard part.’

In addition to walking for 90 minutes per day, Jo is now using an MM Slimming device, which uses electromagnetism to stimulate muscles, to try and tone up.

She said of the device, which she uses at a local beauty clinic: ‘I’m a little bit addicted! You sit there and it’s like 20,000 sit-ups in half an hour.

‘As much as everyone is saying I’m skinny, I’m the same weight. I’ve just started to tone up, lose my bum and stomach. This machine is amazing.’
