Ansel Elgort wears a face mask as he braves the crowds during a trip to Whole Foods amid coronavirus lockdown
In an attempt to deter the spread of COVID-19, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti urged citizens to wear face masks if forced to run ‘essential errands’ outside their homes.
And Ansel Elgort put those words into action on Saturday afternoon, when he was spotted wearing an N95 mask during a solo trip to Whole Foods market in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old Baby Driver star showed off his trim and toned physique in a fitted grey Yale t-shirt and black Nike athletic shorts.

Elgort rounded out his errand run ensemble with a pair of black Nike kicks and some coordinating white Nike brand socks.
While inside the store, Ansel adhered to proper social distancing by giving fellow store patrons the recommended six-foot distance as he waited to check out.
His golden blonde hair was hidden beneath a black New York Yankees hat as he carried a plethora of shopping bags to his parked vehicle.
Though the Divergent actor did don a medical grade mask, he opted to keep his hands glove-free.

Elgort has not been active on social media in wake of the coronavirus pandemic as he presumably quarantines with longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan.
Ansel has been dating the professional ballerina since 2012, after having attended the same high school during their youth.
Aside from his flourishing personal life, Ansel’s career in Hollywood has soared since his memorable role in the 2014 romance drama The Fault In Our Stars.

In early March, director Steven Spielberg released promotional images from the set of his ‘more authentic’ West Side Story remake starring Ansel as infamous ‘wrong side of the tracks’ heartthrob Tony.
The film will also feature Hollywood newcomer Rachel Zegler as the female protagonist Maria.
