Todd Chrisley is the latest celebrity to test positive for the coronavirus.

The reality star, 52, revealed on Wednesday that his battle with COVID-19 landed him in a hospital for nearly five days, leaving him in the worst condition of his life.

‘I have been battling corona for three weeks, I was in the hospital for four and a half days – fever between 100-103,’ he said on the family podcast, Chrisley Confessions.

‘It has been the sickest that I have ever been in the 52 years that I have been on this earth,’ he said.

The reality star, who was talking with his wife Julie on the podcast, vowed he’s ‘not going anywhere’ and looks to gradually regain his health after becoming infected with the novel virus.

‘I’m not running the risk of getting any sicker than I’ve already been,’ he said. ‘Hopefully, I will get better everyday … I’m probably about 70 to 75 percent of what I normally am.’

The Chrisley Knows Best personality commented about the shutdown of most services in an effort to quell the virus, saying he’s ‘never seen our country at a standstill’ as it is.

Chrisley is the latest celebrity touched by the international pandemic, as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Idris Elba and Andy Cohen are among the notable names who have tested positive, as well as Prince Charles and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who remains in intensive care battling the ailment.

Other TV personalities who have been diagnosed with the virus include CNN personalities Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin, and The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood. Chef Floyd Cardoz, who won on Top Chef Masters, died March 25 at 59 from complications to the disease.

As of Wednesday, the death total for COVID-19 – declared a public health emergency by World Health Organization – had soared to 12,709 people in the U.S., The COVID Tracking Project reported, with 393,698 total positive diagnoses.

This week saw New York’s total death toll surpass the 2,977 overall deaths stemming from the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, as more than 4,000 people have died there as result of the virus.

On a global level, 82,195 people have died amid 1,432,577 positive diagnoses worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.
