Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming writes ‘love and miss you guys’ as he quarantines with ex Demi Moore

Bruce Willis has raised eyebrows over his decision to quarantine with his ex Demi Moore, rather than his wife Emma Herring. 

Model Emma, 41, confirmed she was not isolating with the pair when she commented ‘love and miss you guys’ on a snap of the famous exes and their daughters Tallulah, 26, and Scout, 28, in matching pyjamas, posted on Wednesday. 

The current spouse of Willis, 65, has been publicly supportive his choice to self-isolate with Moore, 57, as she remains with their two daughters; Mabel, eight, and Evelyn, five.  

While it is unclear why the family is not all isolating together, Heming hasn’t stopped gushing over her stepdaughters’ latest pictures on Instagram.

‘Not many can pull that color off! Looking good squad,’ she commented on one of Tallulah’s posts.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE: ‘The two exes reunited during their self-isolation,’ however that still doesn’t clarify if Bruce is there full time.  

MailOnline has contacted Bruce, Emma and Demi’s representatives for further comment. 

Fans commented on Demi’s latest post because they were ‘confused’ over Bruce’s decision to isolate with his ex rather than with his wife. 

One follower wrote: ‘Why are you and the girls not with them??? So confused’, while another fan added: ‘Shouldn’t he be with YOU and your children? Odd, don’t you think?’

A third chimed: ‘I see they put all the old people together. Didn’t want to expose the little ones…super smart!’

A fourth added: ‘We miss you in the family photo, and your daughters too’.

‘Funny, she says she missed them in the comments’, another follower of Demi’s wrote. 

Demi and Bruce were married from 1987 to 2000 and share three children, with oldest daughter Rumer, 31, not seen in the family pictures.

For the past month, Bruce has been bonding with his daughters from his first marriage.  

The youngest of the Willis daughters explained in an Instagram comment, her family ‘made the choice to quarantine together and have been together for 27 days taking every precaution.’

While Heming confirmed she is not present, Willis’ daughter Rumer has also not been pictured in any of the group’s photographs. 

Willis, Moore and their adult children have been documenting their quarantine activities, which have included doing a ‘family photo project’ and posing in matching outfits.  

In the two decades since Bruce and Demi’s 13-year marriage ended in 2000, they have worked hard to build a happy friendship. 

Following their break-up, both Bruce and Demi remarried. 

Bruce was present Demi wed now ex-husband Ashton Kutcher in 2005, while last year Demi was on-hand at Willis’ vow renewal ceremony to wife Emma.

The group regularly celebrate milestones as one big happy family, and Bruce and Emma even supported Demi at the launch of her memoir, Inside Out, last year.

Meanwhile, Heming shared a closer look at her own life in quarantine with Bruce’s youngest children on Wednesday.

‘If you drive by our house the girls want to hear you honk for happiness,’ she captioned a video on her Instagram Story of her daughters holding a hand-made banner. 

‘So the girls put up their sign ‘honk for happiness’ right in front of our house, and I’m in my office, and I can actually hear people honking,’ she said, while looking touched by the sentiment.   

‘People aren’t honking here, but I swear they have been,’ she joked, as her sweet girls jumped around and looked excited in the silence. 

After a long day outside spreading joy, she shared a video of Evelyn lying on top of her with the caption, ‘I’m glad you’re comfortable, Evs.’
