As a working mother-of-six, Antonia Kidman knows a thing or two about being busy.
So it’s no surprise that the younger sister of Hollywood star Nicole has had trouble adapting to life as it slows down during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a column penned for Nine Honey on Thursday, the 49-year-old revealed the top strategies she’s been using to adjust to ‘the new normal’.

The law graduate said the thing she was most worried about when the COVID-19 outbreak became a pandemic was losing her ‘space and the freedom to move’.
‘I hate being confined and being able to get out has always been a go-to for clearing my head,’ she wrote.
Antonia said she has found her garden to be a sanctuary as she spends more time at home, giving her an invaluable fix of ‘fresh air and nature’.

With a pair of ‘dodgy knees’, Antonia was ‘gutted’ when she found out gyms and parks were closing.
Now, the TV presenter has adjusted by turning her balcony into a workout area, set up with a cycling machine, hand weights, medicine ball and kettlebell.
The ‘avid news reader’ also admitted she has needed to put some limits on how much news she was consuming.

While still staying informed, Antonia makes sure she takes some time out by ‘reading and listening to other stuff’ for entertainment.
Antonia and her husband Craig Marran are currently working from home.
Last week, she shared a picture to Instagram of Craig and four of her children sitting at the dining table, working on laptops or writing on school worksheets.

Meanwhile, her famous sister, who is in lockdown in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, country music star Keith Urban, revealed the pair are keeping in touch over FaceTime.
Nicole posted a picture to Instagram last month of one of their catch-ups.
‘My sis and I FaceTiming… miss my family in Australia so much. As I’m sure many people are missing their families right now,’ she captioned the post.
