Adam Brody stepped out for a solo outing on Wednesday after it emerged he and his wife Leighton Meester are reportedly expecting their second child together.
The O.C. hunk, 40, proved safety comes first as he sported a protective face mask while picking up a prescription from his local pharmacy in Los Angeles amid California’s coronavirus lockdown.
The screen star and the Gossip Girl actress, 34, who share daughter Arlo, four, surprised fans last week when Leighton appeared to display a baby bump in their first joint appearance since January.

Cutting a casual figure, the Baggage Claim actor donned a cosy grey jumper, which he styled with currant-coloured chinos and monochrome canvas trainers.
The San Diego native rounded off his look by hanging his reading glasses on his top, and carrying his purchase using a blue medical glove.
Adam and Leighton have kept their personal life relatively low-key, with the couple tying the knot in a private ceremony in February 2014.

The Curfew actor popped the question in November 2013, after the duo met on the set of romantic comedy The Oranges in March 2010.
The thespians are yet to confirm whether they’re expecting another child. DailyMail.com contacted Leighton’s representatives for further comment at the time of publication.
While Leighton has a host of hit shows under her belt, the TV and film star first found incredible success starring as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl from 2007 until 2012.
The all-star cast of Upper East Side students included Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen.
The Somebody To Live singer has since returned to TV screens alongside Brad Garrett, Taran Killam, Kimrie Lewis and Jake Choi in ABC’s family sitcom, Single Parents.
