Kara Tointon looks every inch the doting mum as she shares a sweet snap cuddling son Frey, 16 months

She welcomed her first child with fiancé Marius Jensen in November 2018. 

And Kara Tointon beamed with happiness as she took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of herself cuddling her son Frey, 16 months, on Tuesday. 

The Mr Selfridge actress, 36, smiled as Frey relaxed on her tummy and watched something from behind the camera.   

Fans couldn’t help but point out Frey was the spitting image of Marius. 

One follower wrote in the comments: ‘Looks like his daddy’, while another added: ‘image of his dad’. A third chimed: ‘What a handsome boy’.  

Kara later uploaded a snap on her Insta stories of herself and Frey inspecting their charcoal barbecue, while their cocker spaniel stood expectantly. 

Kara and fiancé Marius welcomed their son in November 2018. The pair made their first public appearance at the Wimbledon tennis championships in the summer of 2017.  

Before the coronavirus pandemic, the couple toyed with the idea of getting married in Marius’ native Norway later this year. 

Speaking during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last year, the actress revealed the couple will be tying the knot sometime in 2020.

She said: ‘Well, (the wedding) is in the schedule. Do we do it in Norway? That would be nice, but it’s getting everyone over there. Yeah, it’s in the plan.’

The pair became parents for the first time in November 2018, when they welcomed son Frey into the world.

Speaking about the experience of starting a family with Marius, Kara said: ‘He [Marius] is rather lovely, isn’t he? I did well.  

 ‘They always say there’s no right time to have kids, if you want it you just have to get on with it. We all muck in, I love it.’
