Sam Faiers risks a £1,000 fine as she drives her Range Rover WITHOUT a rear licence plate

Sam Faiers risked a £1,000 fine on Tuesday as she drove her black Range Rover without a rear licence plate to stock up on supplies at local shops in Surrey.

Failing to show a correct number plate fitted in the right place can lead to a fine of up to £1,000 or a failed MOT test.

The DVLA and GOV website states that vehicles must have both a front and back plate, with the latter displaying black characters on a yellow background.

A spokesman for Sam told MailOnline: ‘Samantha recently had her rear number plate stolen and has been unable to get it replaced due to the current lockdown.’

Sam, 29, cut a casual figure in an all-black Nike tracksuit as she picked up some essential items for her family during the UK COVID-19 lockdown.

The star was seen unloading shopping into the boot of the vehicle with the rear licence plate visibly missing.

Earlier in the day, Sam enjoyed a workout session with her sister Billie, 30, and their personal trainer via FaceTime.

Mother-of-two Sam is renting the lavish home for £7,000 per month following the success of her ITVBe show The Mummy Diaries which also stars her sister Billie, 30.

The newly-built house has a fitted kitchen that Sam has already showcased on her Instagram while filming TikTok videos with Paul and her children.

Sam’s sister Billie also bought a new £1.4million home this year but photos of her place with husband Greg show that the property needs extensive renovations.

Billie, who’s a mum to Nelly, six, and Arthur, three, is planning to give the property an Essex makeover but has admitted it will be up to 18 months before the family can move in.
