He was known for his boyish good looks on Married At First Sight.
But Mikey Pembroke showed off his alpha male side on Wednesday by posting a throwback photo to Instagram from when he was in the best shape of his life.
The 29-year-old operations manager showed off his impressive muscles in a picture taken during a gym workout in Bondi Beach, Sydney.

While Mikey did not clarify when the image was taken, it appears to be from around a year ago.
He told his followers that he was using the photo as motivation to get back in shape.
‘Throwback to when I was probably the fittest I’ve been… I can tell you I don’t look like This right now,’ he captioned his post.

Mikey looked a lot more muscular than he did before last week’s reunion dinner party, which was filmed on January 15.

During that episode, he announced that he’d slept with Stacey Hampton earlier in the season, after his split from Natasha Spencer.
Stacey, who was still with ‘husband’ Michael Goonan at the time, strongly denied the allegations and accused Mikey of being ‘obsessed’ with her.
However, Mikey produced damning text messages that supported his claims, and Ivan Sarakula and Aleks Markovic also backed him up.
To this day, Stacey still insists nothing happened between them.
