MAFS’ Martha Kalifatidis is ‘caught out’ crying in public after her ‘break-up’ with Michael Brunelli

Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis had a public meltdown on Monday – conveniently in front of the paparazzi – after her alleged ‘split’ with Michael Brunelli.

The 31-year-old makeup artist wiped tears from her eyes while buying red wine from a bottle shop in Sydney’s Bondi Beach with her sister, Sophie.

Martha appeared to be reading texts on her phone, after she and Michael shared a number of messages on their Instagram accounts on Monday night that indicated that they had called it quits.

She’s not fooling anyone! MAFS’ Martha Kalifatidis (left, with lookalike sister Sophie Kalifatidis) was ‘caught out’ crying in public on Monday after her ‘break-up’ with Michael Brunelli – after fans accused them of staging their split for attention

But it’s suspected the ‘break-up texts’ saga is part of a sponsored content deal.

On the outing, Martha showed off her washboard abs in a beige crop top and baggy, high-waisted trousers.

The brunette went makeup free and had her dark locks out and in loose, tousled curls.

Her sister Sophie Kalifatidis opted for a black tracksuit and eagerly looked on as Martha flashed her phone screen.

On Monday night, Martha and Michael shared a number of text messages on Instagram which appeared to indicate that they have split.

The pair – who began dating after meeting on season six of MAFS in late 2018 – both shared screenshots showing part of a dramatic conversation they had over their smartphones.

Martha also posted an Instagram Stories video in which she revealed she was sleeping alone, while insisting she ‘deserved better’ than what she’d been dealing with while the couple are isolated together in their new Bondi home.

In the texts, Michael, 28, asked his girlfriend if she was ‘joking’ when she said she was fed up, and told her she was being too dramatic, but Martha ranted on.

She wrote: ‘You know I don’t play Michael, I don’t have time for this. I’m so busy, I have work to do. I need better support, I want a better connection! I just need more everything’.

When former teacher Michael asked Martha what had changed, she complained: ‘We have had hassles every single day and it’s just an unnecessary burden on me.

‘Like I’m sooo busy, I’ve got so much work to do. I don’t feel supported. Like ever. Sometimes there is like, no connection, like, at all.

‘I can’t do mediocre, I want the best!’ she wrote, before adding: ‘I’m so fkn done!!!! I’m upgrading. Bye bihhh’.

Michael shared his part of the text exchange on Instagram, captioning the set of screenshots: ‘I’m not about to go into a back and forth, but honestly this is so dramatic…’

Martha likewise shared her own texts, which she captioned: ‘2020… didn’t think it could get any worse.’

Nice try: While the texts and video appear to be about a relationship split, many fans guessed Martha may just be talking about the quality of her internet connection, rather than her feelings for Michael

In her Instagram Stories video, also shared Monday night, Martha lay alone in bed and told her fans: ‘I have the whole bed to myself which I am really excited about.

‘Since we have been spending so much time at home, and we can’t leave, so much s**t has come my attention. Things I just didn’t know were happening and I am so frustrated. I am so over it.

‘You think you sign up for one thing and you get another. I am so done. I am too old for this. I know there is better out there and I know I deserve better,’ she said.
