Coronation Street fans have been left confused by an apparent blunder in the Geoff and Yasmeen Nazir domestic abuse storyline.
Viewers of the ITV soap have been on tenterhooks for the last few weeks as controlling bully Geoff continually intimidates wife Yasmeen, including forcing her to compulsively clean their home.
But as Geoff spied on Yasmeen from the pub during Monday night’s episode, Corrie fans took to Twitter to query why his wife hadn’t yet found the hidden cameras around their house given her incessant cleaning.

Others were skeptical about why Yasmeen didn’t smell the alcohol on her drunk husband’s breath.

During the dramatic episode, Yazmeen finally plucked up the courage to call the police and seek information about her husband under Clare’s Law.
With Geoff attempting to ban her from attending Zeedan’s wedding in Spain, Yasmeen fled to her granddaughter Alya’s (Sair Khan) house.
Viewers saw Geoff bombard Yazmeen with 42 threatening messages, suggesting he was planning on taking his own life – all while spying on her via the secret CCTV cameras he had planted.
Concerned for her husband’s safety, Yazmeen rushed home, only for Geoff to return nonchalantly, making her realise he’d staged a suicide scene to upset her on purpose.
Finally deciding to take action, the scene ended with Geoff’s poor wife finally calling the police to seek information.
