EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity agent reveals how the Married At First Sight cast plan on cashing in as COVID-19 limits their showbiz careers – and why NONE should quit their day jobs
Australia’s leading celebrity talent agent Max Markson has revealed how the Married At First Sight cast can cash in on their fame following Sunday’s season finale.
Whereas all of their upcoming personal appearances have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Max, who represents seven of this year’s stars, says they can make money via ambassadorships, endorsements and Instagram deals.
However, he insists none of them should quit their day jobs in the hope of becoming huge stars, but they can certainly make the most of their profiles on the side.

‘Even though club appearances are not available to them at the moment they are all still going to get work from ambassadorships, endorsements and paid deals through their social media,’ Max told Daily Mail Australia on Monday.
‘All the current MAFS personalities get their instagram social media profiles back today and I am handling lots of enquiries for paid posts from companies like Happyskinco, Lumaeskin, Hello Fresh, Vush.’
When asked if any of the stars fear the COVID-19 pandemic may have cost them their one shot at launching showbiz careers, Max replied with refreshing honesty.

‘None of them have voiced any concerns about ongoing work. I really believe they all understand that the show is not the be all and end all of life as we know it,’ he said.
‘They still need “proper jobs” but MAFS does open the door for other opportunities along the way.’
Max currently represents Tash Herz, Hayley Vernon, Chris Nicholls, Steve Burley, Aleks Markovic, Natasha Spencer and Amanda Micallef from this year’s season.
He also looks after former stars: Jessika Power, Cyrell Paule, Bronson Norrish and Mike Gunner.

The celebrity agent went on to reveal that many of his Married At First Sight clients will be taking part in Harvard Economist Harry Dent’s free webinar on Wednesday.
Max said of the upcoming free online event: ‘Maybe they will learn about opportunities that arise to make money from the current coronavirus situation.’
