The pictures show how the three-month production is anything but glamorous.
This year’s cast looked downright miserable while filming in Sydney from September to December last year.
They rarely smiled as they went about their days while based at the Skye Suites apartment complex on Kent Street.
Instead, they looked exhausted, strained and depressed.

On October 15, Michael Goonan had a meltdown with emotion at a café in the CBD.
During a brief break from filming he looked pale and drawn as he grabbed a coffee, before burying his head in his hands while reading a newspaper.
Likewise, intruder Drew Brauer looked overwhelmed as he was photographed at the same cafe on November 20, which was outside of the casts’ apartment complex.

The pair failed to crack a single smile as they grabbed a coffee in the city. Just days later Steve was pictured crying on the street as Mishel left him on November 28.

The constant looks of despair are likely a combination of various factors.
Each participant was most probably feeling homesick, tired from such long days filming on set, and exhausted by the constant drama within the experiment.
Married At First Sight’s seventh season limped to the end on Sunday night.
Many viewers lost interest in the show this year, with all of the biggest storylines happening off-camera, and the lack of continuity causing constant confusion.
