‘I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild,’ she told the newspaper, which is based in Logan’s native British Columbia.

‘It’s hard,’ said Marlyse, adding: ‘With his talent and gorgeous looks, Logan had the potential to be a huge star.’

Alongside a picture with and fellow The Flash actor Jesse L. Martin, Grant wrote: ‘Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly.’

He urged: ‘Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.’

Logan was only 10 years old when he made his debut in the 2014 film The Color Of Rain – after scoring the part with the first audition he gave in his life.

That same year he began starring on both When Calls The Heart and The Flash, and the following year he guest-starred on an episode of Supernatural.

Erin Krakow, who led the cast of When Calls The Heart as Logan’s schoolteacher, shared an Instagram tribute to her late co-star as well.

‘Logan was a beautiful, warm, silly, and talented young man. He could always make us laugh. He was just shy of 17 and had what I’m sure would have been a very bright future ahead of him,’ Erin added.
