Just last month, former My Kitchen Rules star Ash Pollard announced that she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Pete Ferne.

And now it seems that the bubbly blonde is struggling with severe morning sickness.

The 34-year-old revealed on Wednesday that she was forced to take a nap on the floor and had been vomiting at work, while recording her Hit101.3 breakfast show.

The TV personality shared a selfie with fans on Instagram of herself on the floor in the radio studio, as she tried to get some shut-eye.

‘Good Morning from the studio floor! Quick nap between on air breaks and off air spews is crucial,’ Ash captioned the image.

She added the hashtags ‘preggo perfection’ and ‘what a balance.’

'I can't even string a sentence together on air properly': Ash also shared a video of herself on the floor on her Instagram story and said it's hard to keep down the vomit

‘I can’t even string a sentence together on air properly, s**t… it’s hard trying to prevent yourself vomiting into a microphone on air.’

Last month, Ash revealed on her radio show that she’s pregnant with her first child with builder boyfriend, Pete Ferne.

Before revealing the news, Ash made her co-host Daniel ‘Gawndy’ Gawned sniff her pregnancy test.

Ash gave Gawndy a pair of hospital-grade gloves, a blindfold and a box for what he thought was just a mystery box challenge.

Inside the box was Ash’s pregnancy test, which he smelt while trying to work out what the item inside the box was.

‘I’m pregnant!’ Ash screamed.

‘What, are you serious?! Congratulations… That explains all the moods,’ Gawndy replied.

Ash, who is due to give birth in September, said the news had come as a ‘surprise’.

She shared a photo to Instagram of herself and Pete at a wedding, which she claimed was taken on the ‘day of conception’.

She also uploaded an ultrasound scan, which she captioned: ‘Mother sick as a dog but getting on with it, father putting up with mood swings well.’

Ash has been dating builder Pete, 35, since 2017.

In February, Ash revealed that she’d been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and had been told it would be difficult to start a family.

She became tearful on her radio show, saying: ‘All I want to do is keep going leaps and bounds in my career but now I’m like, “What do I do?”

‘Do I think about my career or do I think about having a kid?’

WHAT IS POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME?

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common condition that affects how a woman’s ovaries work which can lead to fertility issues.

The three main features of PCOS are:

Irregular periods – which means the ovaries don’t regularly release eggs (ovulation). This can affect a woman’s ability to get pregnant.

Excess androgen – high levels of ‘male hormones’ in the body, which may cause physical signs such as excess facial or body hair.

Polycystic ovaries – the ovaries become enlarged and contain many fluid-filled sacs (follicles) which surround the eggs and can stop them from being released. It’s important to note that, despite the name, if you have PCOS you don’t actually have cysts.
