Married At First Sight has toppled the nightly news in the ratings for the first time this week, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It seems that viewers couldn’t get enough of the controversial dating experiment on Tuesday, as the cheating scandal between Mikey Pembroke and Stacey Hampton played out.
According to TV Tonight, Tuesday’s reunion episode on Channel Nine drew in a whopping 1,317,000 viewers across the five-city metro.

Coming in second in the ratings was Seven News at 1,256,000 viewers, followed closely by Nine News which drew in 1,231,000 viewers.
On Monday, MAFS lagged behind in the ratings, with Seven coming out on top with the main news bulletin drawing in 1,263,000 viewers.
MAFS drew in 1,122,000 viewers on Monday. On Sunday, only 1,161,000 viewers tuned in.
