Tinsley Mortimer reveals her destination wedding to fiancé Scott Von Kluth is on hold due to COVID-19

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, The Real Housewives of New York City star Tinsley Mortimer was forced to put her destination wedding to her millionaire fiancé Scott Von Kluth on hold for the foreseeable future.

‘We were thinking about doing something in Japan. And clearly, anything in Asia was then all of a sudden, completely off limits,’ the 44-year-old reality star told E! News on Tuesday.

‘We’re at a time in our lives right now that we really just don’t know what’s going on and where we can travel and what we can do. And so it’s definitely difficult in this time to plan something and really nail it down.

‘So we’re kind of just waiting to see what’s going to happen with the world. But we have some really good ideas that we can sort of put [in place] once we know really officially when we’re going to be able to travel again and be out.’

The 42-year-old Coupon Cabin CEO proposed to Mortimer (born Mercer) in front of the Chicago Water Tower four months ago, and they’re planning a small ceremony with only ‘one or two’ of her RHONY co-stars.

Carole Radziwill will likely be one of the invited guests since she was the one who set up the betrothed couple – who briefly split in October 2018 – on a blind date back in 2017.

It’ll be the Virgina-born blueblood’s second time down the aisle after her on/off nine-year marriage to financier Robert ‘Topper’ Livingston Mortimer ended in divorce in 2010.

‘I’m older, you know, it’s like different,’ Mortimer explained.

‘I mean, I still want to wear the big white dress. Like that is not being taken away from me, I will wear a big huge white dress, but it’s not going to be a big Southern wedding the way that I had before.’
