Joe Wicks enjoys family stroll with wife Rosie and their children Indie and Marley

He’s the nation’s P.E teacher, teaching fitness to an audience of thousands every day through his online YouTube series.

And on Sunday Joe Wicks took some time out from his new venture to enjoy a walk with his family – wife Rosie Jones and their two children, daughter Indie, two, and son Marley, three months.

Joe was a doting dad, carrying little Indie, despite his fractured hand, and pushing his son in the buggy as the family strolled around Richmond Park, London.

Joe stuck to his favourite workout wear for the government advised daily exercise, teaming a grey hoodie with trainers and jeans.

Rosie, a model, looked pretty in her white sweater and green trousers combo as she chatted with her husband.

Little Indie, who has appeared in Joe’s online workouts, was cute in leopard print leggings and an orange jumper as she run around with her beaming dad.

Rosie and Joe welcomed Indie in May 2018.  Joe said at the time: ‘I’ve always chosen to keep my personal life and relationship private but with such an amazing new thing coming into our lives I thought it would be nice to share the news with you myself. We are both absolutely buzzing to be parents.

The couple announced their engagement in November 2018 and tied the knot 18 months later in a woodland ceremony.

They welcomed their second child – a son named Marley – into the world in December 2019 and revealed at the time that he had been born three weeks early.

In just a week the workouts, beamed live from his London living room, have reached 1 million viewers on YouTube, and Joe spent much of his weekend promoting the venture on shows around the world.

Despite already boasting three million Instagram followers and more than 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube, Joe had admitted he was struggling to get attention from TV producers.

‘I was trying so hard to get a TV show but doors kept getting closed,’ he told Heart radio last week. ‘Now the BBC want to talk, CBeebies and Channel 4.’

According to a report in The Sun last week, Joe is said to be close to inking a deal with Channel 4, with a source spilling:

‘Channel 4 have worked with Joe previously and were straight onto him once they saw he was going to be hosting live workouts daily.

‘His YouTube streams have been watched in their droves, so they have offered him a deal to host a daily show for them which would be aired to the nation to get kids, and adults, moving every morning.

‘Nothing is signed yet but they are all hopeful something will work out.’

‘Words can’t express how happy and proud I have felt every day this week as the nations P.E. teacher. I’ve been overwhelmed with the response and the support it’s had from everyone,’ he wrote.

‘As a result of so many people viewing the #PEWithJoe workouts on YouTube the advertising revenue generated has been unlike anything I’ve seen or experienced on my channel before.

‘So I’ve decided that as long as I’m the nations P.E. teacher, every single penny of the money generated on these videos is going to the place where we need it the most right now. All of it is going straight to the NHS, to support the real heroes right now.

‘Thank you for watching, joining in and sharing… I’m loving being your P.E. Teacher and now you can watch again, knowing you’re not only staying fit, you’re also helping raise money for the NHS. See you Monday at 9am.’

As well as becoming the nation’s P.E teacher in a matter of days, Joe has had to contend with a nasty injury after falling off his bike and fracturing a bone in his hand just over a week ago.

During Monday’s live workout, a bandaged Joe assured viewers that his injury wouldn’t stop  him, declaring:’ I just can’t do any push-ups or press-ups or burpees but I’m sure you’ll be happy about that because it means no burpees for you. I’ll be here for as long as you need me.’
