Studio 10 host Sarah Harris has vowed to give her two sons a normal Easter amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 38-year-old told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday that hopes to keep the ‘magic’ of the Easter season alive for her young boys – Paul, four, and Harry, two.

She explained: ‘It has been so hectic in the world, so much going on with the smoke, and the fires and the floods and now this shocking virus, kids pick up on that, they know something is different.’

‘They need to be shielded from this awful, horrible stuff that is going on right now,’ she added.

Sarah said that while her family is practicing social distancing, they will go ahead with their annual Easter Egg hunt at their home. 

She said they will continue to spend quality time together as a family.

She has been candid about motherhood and previously told TV Week back in December her plans for baby number three. 

‘It [managing two sons] was really hard for me, and I wonder if I’ll upset the equilibrium by having a third’, she told the publication at the time.

Despite having reservations, she admitted she would go through the process all over again and will ‘leave it up to the universe’ to decide if she will have a third child.

‘I’m waiting to feel like I’m done, and I don’t think that’s quite the case yet,’ she said, hinting at the prospect of another addition to her family. 

As of Saturday afternoon, there are 3,573 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 14 deaths.
