Gwyneth Paltrow plays it cool in a tracksuit as she and her husband Brad Falchuk take a walk

She covered up in a face mask for a trip to the farmer’s market earlier this week.

But Gwyneth Paltrow ditched the mask on Friday when she and her husband Brad Falchuk, 49, took a quiet break from the self-isolation at home in Santa Monica for a relaxing stroll under the sun.

The 47-year-old Avengers: Endgame actress and her producer husband both opted for casual yet sporty outfits as they filled up on fresh air.

Gwyneth stuck with a navy windbreaker with white stripes funning up the sleeves, along with a pair of black leggings that highlighted her trim frame.

The 5ft9in Royal Tenenbaums actress completed her ensemble with intriguing black trainers with straps that wrapped around her ankles, and she opted for a makeup-free look.

Brad had on a white long sleeve shirt with low-key gray sweatpants and gray and red Asics tennis shoes.

Gwyneth and her husband, a high-profile television producer known for his collaborations with Ryan Murphy, have kept a low profile in recent days as they practiced responsible social distancing and stayed at home.

The two up the trend by at least six feet away as they went for a short walk just outside their neighborhood.

In recent years, the actress and Goop founder has significantly decreased her number of film and television projects and primarily made small appearances in Marvel films, but one of her older movies has had a resurgence in popularity in recent weeks.

As coronavirus fears have escalated, Steven Soderbergh’s 2011 film Contagion received renewed interest due to its chilling portrayal of a fictional pandemic (which is far deadlier than the current coronavirus pandemic).

Chilling: Gwyneth has a small but pivotal role as the first suffer of the virus (as well as its first shocking fatality). Her character passes it on to countless others during a trip to Hong Kong; still from Contagion

The movie was a commercial success at the time and boasts an impressive 85 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but renewed interest in the chiller boosted it into the iTunes top 10 rentals earlier this month, and it still remains among the top 20 rentals.

Gwyneth makes a brief but unforgettable appearance early in the film as the first known suffer of a deadly new virus (as well as its first fatality).

Elements of the response to the fictional pandemic will remind many viewers of the current efforts to get people to social distance, thoroughly wash their hands and refrain from touching their faces.

Contagion also depicts the virus as first appearing during Gwyneth’s business trip to China, though her character visits Hong Kong, rather than the Hubei province where the coronavirus was first documented.

On Sunday, the Two Lovers actress shared a photo Brad took of her after a trip to their local farmers market.

She matched her all-black outfit with a black surgical mask, though the CDC currently only advises healthcare professionals and sick people to wear masks, and she also wore vinyl gloves to carry her groceries.

Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, discouraged individuals from wearing gloves to prevent coronavirus infections earlier this month in an interview for Today.

‘I don’t think they’re going to do anything but give people a false sense of security, waste time and create more demand for something that’s unnecessary, just like masks,’ he said.

Latex gloves can rip easily and aren’t designed for everyday tasks, and they’re useless if someone touches their face while wearing them.
