EastEnders’ Barry Evans star Shaun Williamson SNORTS a miniature version of himself in bizarre new music video condemning drug use
Former EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson has starred in a new bizarre music video where he snorts a miniature version of himself.
The Barry Evans star, 54, performs in the new track called Braindead (Heroin Kills) by Italian DJ Piero Pirupa, which laments and shows the downfall of drug use.
In the video, which takes place in a studio-like setting, Shaun mimes to the lyrics ‘heroin kills, stay away from pills’ while he’s surrounded by a desk full of props replicating illegal substances.

Shaun, in character, then pretends to take a ‘pill’ as he starts dancing and hallucinating cartoons and miniature versions of himself dancing.
The video then sees the actor ‘snort’ one of the miniature versions of himself as he has a severe reaction and collapses to the floor, with the fellow cast members rushing over.
A cartoon of Shaun’s brain then comes out of his head and starts punching the people on set while he then deflates into a balloon.
The video ends with the actor stepping in front of the camera and the flattened version of himself, as he recites the lyrics in a serious manner: ‘Heroin kills, stay away from pills.’

Shaun became a household name thanks to his role as Barry Evans on EastEnders from 1994 until 2004. His character was dramatically killed off by the evil Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks).
The actor has gone on to appear on the likes of current programme Mister Winner, Ricky Gervais’ Extras and Scoop.
While in 2017, he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and joked as he entered the house that he would have ‘Barry from EastEnders’ written on his gravestone.

He said: ‘Hello I’m Barry from Eastenders. No I’m not, that was 13 years ago – let it go Shaun. Hello. I still get what I called ‘Barried’ in the street.’
Shaun recently told The Sun that he has lost weight by switching beer to gin and tonics.
He said: ‘I lost 10lb – by drinking gin instead of beer.
‘But I also power walk. Three miles to Tesco’s then three miles back holding the shopping. It took 10lb off over six weeks.’
