Boy, five, fights for life after he was on quad bike ridden by 18-year-old that smashed into metal barrier

A 5-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a quad bike he was riding on smashed into a metal barrier in Corby, Northants last night.
The boy was on the back of the quad bike, which was being ridden by an 18-year-old in Occupation Road, at twenty five to eight in the evening.
It crashed into a metal barrier, causing the five-year-old boy life-threatening head injuries. He is currently in a critical condition at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Northants Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the crash to come forward.
