Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon busts out of a skimpy crop top as she demonstrates an at-home workout for people stuck inside on lockdown

Married At First Sight star Hayley Vernon famously took up fitness and bodybuilding after a long battle with drugs.

And on Thursday, the former finance broker used her expertise to devise an at-home workout for people stuck indoors on lockdown during the coronavirus crisis. 

In a video shared to Instagram, the 32-year-old was clad in a skimpy crop top and compression pants as she performed the high-intensity workout in the living room of her Melbourne apartment.

The reality star first showed herself doing a circuit, which included stair sprints, squats and Russian twists. 

Hayley started with the stair sprints for 45 seconds to get her heart rate up, allowing more blood to pump through her body body.  

‘As fast she you can. Let’s get that heart rate up and happening,’ she said, enthusiastically.

The brunette then moved on to doing regimental squats, telling her followers to do the booty-building dips for 45 seconds.   

Hayley Vernon’s no gym, no equipment workout

Set one: 

– Stair sprints (45 seconds) 

– Squats (45 seconds)  

– Russian twists (45 seconds) 

Complete each exercise three times, in order to complete the circuit 

Set two: 

–  Seated jumps (45 seconds) 

– Fast feet exercise (45 seconds) 

– Dip and crawls (45 seconds) 

Complete each exercise three times, in order to complete the circuit

Set three: 

– Stair Sprints (45 seconds) 

– Star Jumps  (45 seconds) 

She told fans to repeat the circuits for a total time of 45 minutes 

 

‘Make sure you are getting nice and deep – a** back,’ she said. ‘Really push up.’ 

She completed her first circuit with Russian twists, working her abs for 45 seconds.   

Hayley then opted to demonstrate another circuit, showing herself doing seated jumps ‘fast feet’ exercise, and dip and crawls.    

The seated jumps worked her glutes and thighs, telling fans to do the exercise for 45  seconds. 

The beauty then demonstrated her fast feet routine: ‘get down low. Butt out,’ she said of the exercise, while sweating. 

She then demonstrated a dip and crawl which is a squat that moves into a crawl, telling fans to do it for 45 seconds.    

Her final rotation included stair sprints and star jumps.  

‘Working out is hard. You have to grin and bare it,’ she said. 

She went on to encourage her fans to just ‘get it done’ even if they were slow or lacking motivation.  

‘Guys, I’m like everyone else and can’t be bothered most of the time.

‘Sometimes my sets and workout take me two hours – but the point is that I get it done,’ she said. 

‘You are going to struggle. It is going to hurt,’ she added. 

‘Repetition and process builds confidence,’ she finished.
