Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Stars give away tell-tale signs about their marriage as they arrive in Sydney ahead of filming anticipated reunion

Married At First Sight’s 2020 season comes to a close this week.

And arriving in Sydney ahead of filming for the anticipated reunion episode, some of the reality TV spouses seemingly gave away whether they lasted the distance.

Footage supplied to Daily Mail Australia shows five cast members at the airport in January, a day before filming the episode, with and without their wedding bands.

There are five couples left on the series, now airing, including: Sebastian Guilhaus and Elizabeth Sobinoff, Drew Brauer and KC Osborne, Mishel Karen and Steve Burley, Josh Pihlak and Cathy Evans, and Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musulin.

While Steve and Mishel have been on rocky ground for the past few weeks, the couple had insisted they were every-inch the newlywed lovebirds.

They both made sure to flaunt their rings and insist they were still ‘married’, with Mishel joking: ‘I’m still married. Of course it’s real. It’s on tv, so of course it’s real.’

Connie was also all smiles as she jetted into Sydney.

In a cheerful mode, she said she was excited to be back in the city: ‘It feels good. Pretty excited to see all my mates. It’s going to be good.’

However, the airport footage revealed that she was no longer wearing her wedding ring. A sign that she may have split from ‘husband’ Jonethen.

Meanwhile, Cairns-based musician Drew refused to comment on his relationship status and insisted he was just in Sydney for a holiday.

As his TV ‘wife’ KC is based in Sydney, it appears they chose to separate at their final vows.

Lesbian bride Amanda Micallef, who split from ‘wife’ Tash Herz on the show, was also seen arriving for the reunion solo, but said she had enjoyed going ‘back to [her] normal life’ since leaving the program.

On Sunday night, the remaining five couples will meet for their ‘final vows’.

During their intimate meeting they will decide whether to stay together beyond the show or separate.

Married At First Sight continues on Sunday from 7pm on Channel Nine
