Karl Stefanovic’s pregnant wife Jasmine is ‘really worried he’ll bring COVID-19 into their home’

‘I’m taking as many precautions as I can’: Karl Stefanovic reveals pregnant wife Jasmine is ‘really worried he’ll bring COVID-19 into their home’ as he continues hosting the Today show

Today show host Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Stefanovic (née Yarborough) will likely welcome their first child during an Australian coronavirus lockdown.

And Karl, 45, says his pregnant wife, 36, has become increasingly concerned about the Nine personality contracting COVID-19.

‘She’s really worried about me bringing it back to the house, so I’m taking as many precautions as I can,’ he told KIIS FM’s Kyle And Jackie O show on Thursday.

While Jasmine appears to be laying low in their Sydney home during the social-distancing advice by the government, Karl has continued reporting from Nine’s Sydney studios for the Today show.

‘She’s more worried than anyone, being pregnant,’ Karl said, adding: ‘I’ve got to be really cautious out there. It’s a real worry for anyone.’

On a lighter note, Karl also joked about running out of toilet paper and the ‘hard stuff’ because he refused to ‘panic buy’ a few weeks ago.

‘Jasmine’s got cravings, she’s not far away from giving birth, so there’s so much s**t food at home. It’s unbelievable. I can’t not eat it,’ he joked.

Jasmine had previously told The Daily Telegraph in February that she was craving ‘all kinds of ice cream’ during her pregnancy.
