Ali Oetjen celebrates her 34th birthday by eating toast in her backyard alone

Ali Oetjen was forced to celebrate her 34th birthday alone this Thursday, after the government banned parties to stop coronavirus spreading.  

The former Bachelor updated fans on her low-key celebrations on Instagram Stories, uploading a video of herself in a bikini, eating toast in her garden. 

‘It’s a pretty good day today – I got to eat my brunch outside,’ Ali enthusiastically said, filming her tomato and avocado-topped toast. 

‘And I’ve got pink carpets of wildlife around me. It’s amazing!’ she exclaimed, panning the camera around her flower garden. 

Earlier that day, the blonde celebrated her big milestone by uploading an Instagram photo of herself posing in a high-cut swimming costume and heeled sandals.

Showing off her gym-honed pins, Ali was pictured in her back garden with a drink in one hand and a hat in the other. 

‘Walking with intent into my 34th year! It will be great as hard times always means the greatest growth,’ she wrote.

Ali went on to list her biggest achievements over the past year, including learning how to become a yoga teacher, selling a wellness book, releasing her first-ever single and strengthening her relationship with boyfriend Taite Radley. 

She also congratulated herself for remaining ‘vulnerable, genuine and authentic’.

‘I’m sparkling, overflowing and living my truth,’ she enthused.

It is believed Ali has been self-isolating after returning from a trip to Bali, where she attended a wellness retreat earlier this month.  

As of Thursday afternoon, there are 2,725 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia, including 12 deaths.
