Samira joins fellow Love Islander Montana Brown and 170,000 people, who have signed up as NHS volunteers in just 15 hours since the scheme was first announced.

After she signed up, Samira, who catapulted into fame on 2018’s instalment, took to her apartment’s outdoor space in bright blue gym gear and a pair of nineties-inspired shades.

Sending a message to her 969,000 followers on Instagram amidst these unprecedented times, she captioned the two snaps: ‘Keep positive’.

Her sun-soaked snaps come hours after she shared a call for NHS volunteers that can drive, the reality star asked her followers if there was anything else she could do to help the cause as she doesn’t have a driver’s license.

Samira, who lives on her own, said: ‘I put something on my story about volunteering for the NHS anyway you can. I’ve signed up to be a volunteer, obviously I can’t drive but you can do a check in and chat with people who are in isolation or someone who is doing isolation on their own.

‘I am living alone and am in isolation alone so  I know sometimes it’s really lonely and a bit of a struggle, it’s quite nice to probably help people out and that’s why I’ve done it as well.

Adding: ‘It is really hard with what’s going on in the world a lot people are struggling, myself included in that. I think it would be a really nice thing to do if you can.

‘If you can, it would be great if you can volunteer. You’d feel so much better about yourself and helping others.

‘You could help save peoples lives as well because being alone in isolation isn’t nice especially for those with mental health problems and just general if you’re on your own, so if you can, sign up and help heal the world again.’

At the end of last year, Samira and her Love Island co-stars tried to pursue a singing career as they joined forces to form a band for the X Factor: Celebrity.

Samira, alongside Wes Nelson, Eyal Booker and Zara McDermott became No Love Lost in a bid to prove they are ‘more than just reality stars’.

Samira rose to fame on the hit ITV2 dating show Love Island and found love with Frankie Foster.

The star dramatically left the villa to be with her beau, only for cheating allegations to surface within weeks leaving her heartbroken.
