Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev is seen on a bicycle ride with Shaun White in Malibu

It seems that new love can spring in the unlikeliest of times – even during a worldwide pandemic.

On Sunday, Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev was seen out for a bicycle trip with none other than Olympic gold medal-winning snowboarder Shaun White, in Malibu, California even though Governor Gavin Newsom asked residents to stay indoors.

The two looked very happy and content as they rode off in the rain together, with Shaun, 33, beaming while his adorable pooch balanced on his lap. Neither wore helmets.

Nina, 31, sported a black Moncler-style puffy coat for the outing, worn over a black hoodie and slacks.

She completed her look with white tennis shoes, and let her raven-colored hair flow down to her shoulders.

Shaun was dressed in a long-sleeved white top and black shorts, paired with black socks and sneakers.

The pro athlete also wore large sunshades on his smiling face.

This isn’t the first time the pair have been spotted together – Nina and Shaun were reportedly seen at a party together a few months ago.

What’s more, Shaun’s current Instagram Story shows him animatedly playing a Game Of Thrones edition of the famous board game Monopoly – which is the EXACT item Nina was seen purchasing on a shopping run on Monday!

Dobrev was most recently linked to screenwriter-director Grant Mellon, before she ended the relationship in November of last year.

In the past, the Run This Town starlet has also dated Liam Hemsworth, Derek Hough and her Vampire costar Ian Somerhalder, among others.

As for White, he was in a long term relationship with Sarah Barthel of the band Phantogram, having dated her since 2013.

He was also previously linked to Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend, Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli.
