Married At First Sight newlyweds Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musulin marked their final date on the series by sharing gifts with one another.

Connie was overjoyed by the gesture, claiming no one could possibly top a gift like that again.
However, it appears Connie may be left with continual fees for the penguin when the couple choose to separate – as rumoured to have already occurred.
After the initial adoption, a monthly or yearly fee is required to maintain ‘ownership’ of the animal.
Instagram account MAFSfunny made light of the situation, writing: ‘Connie when she reads the T&C and realises she doesn’t actually get the penguin, and is going to be stuck paying $10 a month once Jonethen finally breaks free.’

During the episode, Connie also raised eyebrows when she gifted her ‘groom’ shorts, with her face printed all over them.
And while some viewers found her final attempt at trying to impress her Jonethen odd, he didn’t appear to have any issue with the gift.
Instead, he rushed to put them on before he headed to the ocean for a surf.

It comes after he admitted that he was finally starting to develop feelings for Connie during their last date, confessing he was happy she persistently wrote ‘stay’ throughout the social experiment.
