Made In Chelsea EXCLUSIVE: The REAL reason resident lothario James Taylor and feisty French bombshell Maeva D’Ascanio WON’T return for the show’s new series
Made In Chelsea’s series 19 cast list was unveiled earlier this month with a notable couple missing from the line-up.
James Taylor and his brunette bombshell girlfriend Maeva D’Ascanio did not appear on the roster for the new season, without any apparent explanation.
And in an exclusive clip, MailOnline can reveal why this is.

In a scene from the first episode of the new run, Harvey is seen informing Miles and Tristan that he’s heard from James, who had disappeared off with feisty French Maeva to her native country for a holiday.
And it seems the pair have decided to stay put – in their own little love bubble.
‘I got a message from James,’ Harvey says. Reciting the text, he reads: ‘Hey Harvey how are things? Things are great with me.
‘Maeva and I have been away in France. We’re having such a good time together. I’m in love. So we’ve decided to stay out here for a few months.’

Miles – Maeva’s ex – can’t believe it.
‘What?’ he asks.
‘Yeah they’ve decided to stay out there and do a ski season,’ Harvey says.
The absence of the couple will leave a drama-shaped void in Made In Chelsea, after the pair ruffled multiple feathers during their time on the show.
He adds: ‘We’re having such a good time together. I’m in love. So we’ve decided to stay out here for a few months’
James was a cast member prior to Maeva, romancing the likes of Toff and Eliza.
Maeva made her entrance a year ago, vying for Miles’ attentions, with the pair enjoying a volatile, on/off romance.
Eventually, Maeva found love with James, ultimately tearing apart his friendship with Miles.

While this was a rocky road – with James’ fidelity put to the test once or twice – the pair ended last season in a good place, and have evidently found happiness across the pond.
Meanwhile, Tristan is still involved with Verity, but Miles seems to be caught up in a love triangle with Emily and newcomer Beth.
Made In Chelsea airs at 9PM on E4 on Monday.
