‘I have become Danny Tanner!’ Bob Saget spends the day ‘sanitizing’ his home… then tweets he’s turning into his Fuller House character
Bob Saget took to Twitter recently to mark an art imitates life moment amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 63-year-old actor on Thursday tweeted: ‘Oh. My. God. I spend my day cleaning and vacuuming and sanitizing everything in the house. I have become Danny Tanner.’
Bob portrayed the character in the ABC sitcom Full House and reprised his role in the Netflix sequel Fuller House.

His character Danny Tanner becomes a single father to three girls after his wife Pam was killed by a drunken driver.
His TV daughter Candace Cameron Bure, 43, who played DJ Tanner, responded to Bob’s tweet.
‘You spent years getting away from him and now you’ve finally embraced him. Welcome home dad,’ she posted.
‘I never wanted to get away from him – I just had other sides that were confused as you well know. I love the guy – and he loves DJ and all his girls. We need him more than ever right now. Who knew,’ Bob wrote back.

Bob also is known for hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997.
The Philadelphia native also is known for his adult-oriented stand-up routine and in 2014 released his book Dirty Daddy.
Fuller House premiered its fifth and final season on Netflix in December with the second half of the season to be released in 2020.

The cast filmed the last episode in November and got emotional as the sitcom came to an end.
‘Last night, standing in the stage door with my brothers for life— John and Dave —after filming the last episode of the 5th and final season of Fuller House,” Bob posted on social media with a pic of co-stars John Stamos and Dave Coulier.
‘So much love for everyone involved with this show,’ he added.
John, 56, posted that it was the ‘end of an era…again’ as he thanked Netflix for five seasons of Fuller House.
