Amy Schumer enjoys a park stroll with husband Chris Fischer and son Gene amid the NYC lockdown

Amy Schumer has stressed the importance of social-distancing to her nearly 10million Instagram followers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And the 38-year-old comedian practiced what she preached on Sunday, when she stepped out with husband Chris Fischer for a stroll with their 10-month-old son Gene.

Schumer kept it cozy for the family’s morning hangout in a black puffer coat paired with gray sweatpants.

The Trainwreck star rocked a visibly makeup-free face and had her signature blonde tresses tied back into a messy bun.

She concealed her ice blue peepers behind a pair of darkly tinted shades as the sun peeked through the clouds looming over NYC.

Fischer had baby Gene securely strapped to his chest, while the family maintained the recommended ‘six foot’ distance from fellow park goers around them.

Gene coordinated with his famous mom in a pair of sunglasses, while rocking a navy blue thermal and a tiny pair of yellow leggings.

Schumer and Fischer welcomed their first born in 2019, a little more than a year after tying the knot during a ceremony in Malibu, California.

The entire family enjoyed a similar trip to the park on Saturday, but, due to the lack of attendees, they were able to take a few moments to sprawl out on the grass and take a breather.

After their park playdate, Amy got a little carried away with Photoshop and decided to post an array of images with herself and her tiny family poorly edited into various locations.

On Thursday, Schumer provided a very detailed example of social distancing on her Instagram with the help of her Tony award-winning stage director pal Jerry Zaks.

‘Social distancing with Jerry Zaks. #cherrypie,’ captioned Amy who could be seen taking cautious back-and-forth steps in order to maintain the recommended ‘six foot’ distance from Zaks.

‘Step forward…step back…now THAT is social distance,’ instructed Amy, while she held on tightly to her tiny pooch in the video that has garnered over 800,000 views.

Schumer’s due diligence to maintain social distance and, for the most part, remain quarantined comes in the wake of New York amassing nearly 5% of the world’s coronavirus cases, according to the New York Times.

Health officials ‘emphasized that testing was revealing how quickly the coronavirus has spread’ with a grand total of 15,168 confirmed cases in the state.
