Adam Sandler breaks up the monotony of coronavirus-induced home quarantine by taking a bike ride

He recently renewed his deal with Netflix, signing a four film deal with the streaming giant more than a month ago.

But with all Hollywood productions literally at a standstill due to the growing coronavirus pandemic, Adam Sandler took a break from his idle time to go out on a bike ride in Malibu, California.

In keeping with his typical casual attire uniform, the comedian rolled out onto the streets in sporty wear.

Sandler, 53, hopped onto his black two-wheeler wearing white and blue athletic shorts, which is a go-to for the New York native.

He also donned a baggy blue t-shirt and black sneakers, while sporting a close-cropped beard and mustache.

Being that this was the first consistently sunny day in the LA region in about a week, the Uncut Gems star also wore dark sunglasses to help quell the bright glare.

The new four film contract with Netflix will give him a total of 11 movies and one stand-up special since he inked the original deal in 2014.

His last feature, the thriller Uncut Gems, was deemed a critical and commercial success, garnering US distributor A24 its highest grossing domestic film with $50 million.

Netflix had distribution rights for the picture internationally.

His comedy mystery fim Murder Mystery, co-starring Jennifer Aniston, was Netflix’s most watched film of 2019 in the US.

The last film from his 2017 deal, Hubie Halloween, is slated to be released later this year,

The comedy follows an eccentric community volunteer at the center of a murder case on Halloween, set in Salem, Massachusetts.

Sandler will play title character Hubie Dubois, alongside Kevin James, Julie Bowen and Maya Rudolph, among others.
