Michelle Bridges is well known to be a fitness fanatic. 

And being stuck at home while practising social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic was never going to stop the TV host from working out.

The 49-yer-old shared an inspiring video of her training session to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.

Dressed in a white t-shirt and blue and pink tights, the Biggest Loser trainer filmed a hardcore workout from the comfort of her lounge room.

Michelle ran through sets of energetic heart raising exercises including push-ups, burpees, lunge jumps and squats.

‘I just busted out a couple of moves for about 25 minutes,’ the red-faced trainer said once she’d finished her session.

She then revealed she was trying to social distance as much as possible during the coronavirus pandemic and only really went out for ‘groceries’.  

‘But Axel is busting for a walk,’ she revealed, referring to her four-year-old son. 

Michelle went onto explain she’d decided to take the youngster to a park that ‘doesn’t have any play equipment’.

‘Somewhere he can run around and we can steer clear of people… get some vitamin D and be safe,’ she said.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness accompanied by fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath and fatigue. It can produce pneumonia. 

As of Saturday afternoon, the total number of people diagnosed with the virus in Australia is 1022 cases, including seven deaths.
