Kyly Clarke’s top priority after split from husband Michael

Kyly Clarke has given her first major interview since splitting from husband Michael Clarke in February, after seven years of marriage.

Gracing the pages of The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine on Sunday, the 38-year-old said the couple’s daughter Kelsey Lee, four, is ‘100 per cent’ her ‘priority’.

Kyly and retired Australian cricketer Michael Clarke, 38, had been separated for five months prior to making the announcement.

‘Kelsey Lee is 100 per cent my priority’: Kyly Clarke (pictured), 38, told The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar on Sunday that she will ‘exhaust’ herself to provide for her four-year-old daughter, in her first major interview after splitting from husband Michael Clarke

Having commenced filming for her new role as interiors judge on House Rules: High Stakes, set to premiere on Seven next month, Kyly said the schedule has allowed her to make motherhood top priority.

She explained: ‘And, I guess, why that’s so important to me is that Kelsey Lee is 100 per cent my priority.

‘She’s this beautiful human being that I love being super-adventurous with. I will exhaust myself to give her everything I can.’

The 40-year-old, who shares a son with ex-partner Dan Single, told The Sunday Telegraph’s Confidential that she has been supporting her friend and business associate ‘through a rough time’.

‘Michael and I over the past month have spent more personal time together. I have been supporting Michael through what has been a rough time with the public view on his divorce.

‘As I have been through this before, I understand what a stressful situation this can be when you are in the media storm of a break-up and feel you have no privacy.’
