But there is one particular item that hasn’t been flying off store shelves at the same alarming rate at others: Curtis Stone’s own brand of Coles mince.
Mince is an in-demand product at the moment – Coles has even imposed a strict two-packet limit for customers – but there’s still plenty of Curtis’ range to go around.

It will surely be an embarrassing sight for the Coles ambassador given that shoppers are actively hoarding meat products at the moment.
The seasoned mince, which is ‘ideal for fried rice, dumplings and san choy bow’, is part of the celebrity chef’s Cook with Curtis range Coles introduced in 2010.

It comes after Curtis revealed how he was keeping his LA restaurant Gwen afloat as the hospitality industry is ‘devastated’ by the coronavirus pandemic.
He has set up a farmers market inside the venue where customers can purchase ‘fresh veggies, eggs and milk’ without typical supermarket queues.
Meanwhile, his employees are preparing chicken pot pies, beef stews and soups for people to buy and take home.

The Melbourne-born, U.S.-based chef also runs a successful catering business in Californian in addition to his two restaurants.
