‘I am happy SevenZeroEight has the ability to make this shift and encourage others to do the same.’

‘The Australian Prime Minister has asked companies to make a wartime shift to produce medical supplies due to shortages and disruptions in oversea supply chains,’ a company statement read.

‘SevenZeroEight gin will shift to producing medical grade 70 per cent alcohol hand sanitiser until further notice.’

The distillery halted gin production on Tuesday and switched over to hand sanitiser.

Despite stopping gin production, the company’s alcoholic beverages are still available to purchase while stocks last.
