I’m A Celebrity star Tanya Hennessy admits she put back on the 9kg she lost in the jungle

She’s the hilarious radio host and social media star who recently endured a stint in the jungle filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tanya Hennessy revealed that despite her losing a whopping nine kilos during her three-week stint in the jungle – it didn’t last long.

‘I lost nine kilos and then put it back on in about three days after getting out,’ she laughed on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old comedian also revealed that her time in the South African jungle was a lot more of a challenge than she anticipated.

‘What I couldn’t stand was wearing the same bra for three weeks, and I was constantly dirty. And you can’t leave…’ 

‘It was harder than I ever thought it was going to be. I liked the trials and the food. I didn’t like eating bugs… all I was craving was Allen’s lollies,’ she continued.

‘The entire time I was thinking I would kill a man for some lollies. You name which one of these guys,’ before quickly admitting she was actually joking. 

Tanya went on to say: ‘I’m going to be who I am, and that is to eat UberEats and eat it off my stomach in a hotel room’.

It comes after Tanya hit the runway for Priceline Pharmacy last week alongside TV presenter Chrissie Swan at Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. 

‘I wish I could tell you I prepared in some way or got nervous. But this runway was about being authentic and I was my true-self,’ she said.

In terms of getting runway ready, she added: ‘Chrissie Swan and I pumped up some Lizzo and Kelly Clarkson and just kept chanting, “We’ve got this”.’ 

‘I’m not a model but I’m going to wear the s**t out of this suit,’ she concluded.
