Not even a global pandemic will stop the next season of Married At First Sight.

As offices across Australia shut down to prevent the spreading of coronavirus, the show’s executive producer Tara McWilliams is still hard at work in Sydney.

On Tuesday, Tara, who is regarded as one of the most powerful women in television, appeared to be continuing pre-production for the show’s 2021 season.

The producer posed for a colleague while wearing blue surgical gloves in the office.

‘I can’t cope,’ the colleague joked to Tara as they shared an office space.

‘Let’s see if you’re still mocking me when you’re in quarantine,’ responded Tara.

Although the current season of Married At First Sight is still airing on television, casting was recently opened looking for participants for the 2021 offering.

Filming is set to commence in August, with plenty of work to do before then.

Channel Nine and producers Endemol Shine Australia posted a casting call to MAFS’ official Instagram account in February urging people to sign up.
