Kaia Gerber dons rubber gloves for grocery shopping with Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson in LA

Kaia Gerber is taking some necessary precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But instead of social distancing, the young model is preparing for self-quarantine with friends.

She was spotted in disposable rubber gloves Sunday as she went grocery shopping with Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson and Tommy Dorfman in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old donned a black, white and red letterman jacket with jeans as they stepped out of Erewhon in West Hollywood.

Delevingne, 27, rocked a white t-shirt printed with ‘mamma’ in red, which she paired with ripped black denim short shorts.

She, Benson, 30, and Dorfman, 27, also wore rubber gloves as they stepped out with their groceries. 

Gerber recently covered the April issue of Vogue with several other models from around the world. 

In the interview, she talked about the importance of voting and why her generation takes it so seriously. 

She said: ‘With all the information that’s out there, we can’t claim ignorance anymore. 

‘My generation sees it as their duty to educate themselves, to speak up—we won’t be silenced by anyone.’

The brunette beauty also discussed the importance of her platform, as she boasts 5.4million Instagram followers.

She added: ‘We have ways of communicating with each other now that we didn’t have before. When you have a big platform, it seems irresponsible not to use it for good.’
