Supernatural has halted production on its final season, becoming one of a fleet of shows to stop shooting because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 15th season of the CW series apparently only had about two weeks left before the wrap, and has already begun to air.

As a result the series finale may have to be postponed from its originally scheduled May 18 broadcast date, according to Deadline.

Apparently the network came to their decision about the show this Friday afternoon, having spent a good bit of time mulling the problem.

The CW show The 100 is also filming its last season and the network reportedly plans to soldier through the last couple shoot days.

Only the series finale is purportedly incomplete, and apparently plans to wrap production before the end of next week.

News of the Supernatural shutdown comes a day after it emerged that NBCUniversal has stopped the shoot of a staggering 35 shows, Deadline reported.

Among them is Angelyne, a mini-series starring Emmy Rossum as the 1980s kitsch icon famous for her pink Corvette and towering blonde hairdo.

The Kelly Clarkson Show will go on hiatus after one last episode tomorrow and Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire and Chicago Med are to suspend filming too.

Production on Superstore and New Amsterdam has been halted and the old mainstay Law & Order: SVU will have to take time off the shoot as well.

On Friday morning The Flash stopped its shoot in Vancouver – also the filming location of Riverdale, which shares its production companies.

Riverdale shut down its production in Vancouver Wednesday after someone who works on the show encountered a person who has come down with COVID-19.

The coronavirus patient is not part of the production, according to a Warner Brothers representative who spoke to TMZ.

Medical evaluation was underway for the Riverdale team member who was exposed to the infected person, the representative said.

‘We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member,’ shared the representative.
