RHONY star Luann de Lesseps stocks up on paper towel as she joins panic shopping crowds

She took to her Instagram Stories on Friday evening to reveal the empty shelves in her local grocery store amid the coronavirus outbreak.

But Luann de Lesseps didn’t let it deter her as she headed back on Saturday and was pictured stocking up on staples, including multiple rolls of paper towel, as she returned to her car.

The 54-year-old Real Housewives of New York star was seen at the Hamptons with her friend in a for the casual outing.

Luann braved the East Coast chill in a white sweater underneath a cream colored puffer jacket.

She teamed the look with a pair of figure-hugging black trousers and some sneakers.

The reality star styled her short brunette hair out naturally and appeared to be wearing very little to no makeup.

Luann and her female companion had their shopping cart filled to the brim with brown paper bags.

Among the items was four rolls of paper towels and a large pack of paper napkins.

On Friday the cabaret performer also took to her Stories to showcase the empty aisles in her local store while she picked up what she could.

‘Ok, after I did my closet, I decided to stock up on some things for the weekend,’ she began.

‘This is for real.’

The shelves were completely empty with Luann adding ‘Stay Safe’ stickers on the video.

The post from the two-time divorcee, who recently took up drinking again comes following her sizzling hot tub bikini snap.

Luann posted that she was ‘happy to go home’ with an apple emoji, in a nod to the nickname of New York City.

The mom-of-two will return to screens on the 12th season of RHONY when it airs later this year.
