The TV personality joked about how she felt ‘lost’ without her parents Debbie and Dave after they went away for the night, leaving her on her own with Loretta.

Speaking in an Instagram video, she explained: ‘Debbie and Dave went away for one night and god help me I really feel lost without them.

‘I burnt my head on the tong because I was trying to curl my hair with the baby. I haven’t been able to do anything.’

After Debbie said she had received ‘100 calls’ from her daughter during her overnight stay, Lydia joked that she wasn’t going to return to her own home because she had become so used to staying with her parents.

Lydia added: ‘I feel capable of looking after my child but I haven’t been able to get ready in the mornings.’

Introducing her little one to the world in this week’s issue of HELLO! magazine, Lydia said: ‘I’m not even struggling with the sleep! I’m loving the night feeds. That’s my favourite time.

‘I sit there breastfeeding and I just stare at her. I definitely feel like I’ve been blessed with a dream child.’

Lydia and Lee dated on and off for two years but had split by the time the reality star announced her pregnancy in August 2019.

The former TOWIE favourite admitted the couple have recently started to rekindle their relationship.

She told HELLO!: ‘We’re getting on really well. Loretta was planned – this was always something we were going to do. So we decided to build up a relationship again.

‘I didn’t want to be angry anymore – what’s happened has happened, I’m not going to hold a grudge. Now we’re in a good place and I do love him, of course I do.

‘I would love to think that we’re going to be a family, and told him that if he could prove it to me between then and when the baby arrived then I would give things another shot. So that’s what we’re trying to do at the moment.

‘Equally, I know that if it didn’t work out and we tried, we could be great friends and Loretta would always be our priority. We’re committed to being a family, but nobody has a crystal ball at the end of the day.’

During a previous Instagram Q&A, Lydia was asked whether Lee was an ‘active part’ of her unborn daughter’s life, to which she responded: ‘Our baby was very much planned and we are both very excited for her arrival.’

After a fan asked about how she coped, Lydia said: ‘The beginning was very hard. I’m so strong now, but at 11 weeks I was completely heartbroken and lost. I was so worried that people would judge my situation.’

She added: ‘So many questions about me and Lee. I have learnt that things don’t always plan out the way you hoped and life isn’t always perfect and that’s OK.

‘I get so many messages from women who are in similar situations to me. My only advice is not to be bitter, focus on the miracle and whatever will be will be.’

In a happy twist of fate, Lydia welcomed her baby girl just few weeks before her best friend Lucy Mecklenburgh, 28, gave birth to a boy.

Lucy announced the arrival of son Roman Ravello, her first child with soap star fiancé Ryan Thomas, 35, on Thursday night.
