Laura Dern lights up like a proud mother as she keeps it casual and cozy in sweatpants for a morning date with her teenage daughter Jaya
She has been hard at work filming the next installment in the Jurassic World franchise over the last month or so.
But on Thursday Laura Dern got to enjoy some family time during a morning date with her teenage daughter and her gal pal in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
And from the looks of their glowing smiles, the trio were all in a happy and jovial mood.

The trio were also all in casual comfort mode for their morning jaunt.
The Academy Award-winning actress, 53, kept it light in white sweatpants and white turtleneck sweater.
She rounded out her ensemble with black sneakers and had her blonde tresses styled long, just past her shoulders, with a part near the middle.

Daughter Jaya also wore white sweatpants but with a blue light sweater and black Ugg boots.
Like her mother, she also wore her locks long, as well as a pair of sunglasses.
Jaya’s friend dressed similarly in black sweatpants, blue t-shirt and black boots.
At one point, during their walks to and from their car, the three ladies walk side-by-side-by-side, chatting and laughing.

Along with Jaya, Dern also shares an 18-year-old son Ellery with ex-husband and musician Ben Harper.
The couple were married for about eight years before their divorced was finalized in September 2013.
On the career front: Dern is reprising her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler for Jurassic World: Dominion, which also brings back original Jurassic Park stars Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil back into the fold, along with current franchise leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Jurassic World: Dominion is expected to premiere in theaters June 11, 2021.
