Coronation Street SPOILER: Tensions rise between Steve McDonald and wife Tracy

Dramatic scenes are set to take place on Coronation Street, as Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) gets into a shouting match with wife Tracy (Kate Ford).

The actor, 45, was spotted walking beside his co-star, 43, while cameras were rolling, and for the scene he turned to his on-screen wife and began shouting.

The cast were out in full force to film scenes in a park in Manchester on Friday, where all hell appeared to break loose for their characters.

The couple stood beside a pond as they bickered to one another, apparently out of earshot of any of the other characters.

After having hashed it out, Steve was later seen taking a picture of his daughter Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) during the day out.

Also seen enjoying the stroll was Jane Danson and Ben Price in character as Leanne and Nick Tilsley, who were seen pushing her son Oliver in his buggy.

The pair didn’t seem to be paying attention to Steve and Tracy in the scene, as they walked ahead with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), and Simon Barlow (Alex Bain). 

Jane shares Oliver with Steve, following a one-night stand in June 2016 and while Nick was originally meant to be presented as the boy’s biological father this changed after an altercation between the two men.

Now Steve has partial custody over his son, so the outing appears to be a part of their agreement, even if it includes a number of other characters.  

Things don’t seem to be all positive between the two couples though, as Leanne looked tense as she stood beside her husband.

During a break from filming, co-stars Alexandra and Elle wrapped up against the bitter winter chill by wearing a bright red coat.

The actresses also could be seen carrying hot drinks in their hands to try and stay warm, but they were still in bright spirits as they smiled despite the weather.
