She’s been busy promoting the Disney live action remake of Mulan for which she provides the musical theme Loyal Brave True.
And ahead of Thursday’s announcement by the studio that the scheduled March 27 release of the movie is being postponed due to coronavirus, Christina Aguilera gave a powerful performance of the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The singer, 39, who Billboard describes as having ‘one of the most powerful voices in the industry’, wore a flower-themed red robe and her signature red lip for her performance.

Aguilera performed with a mini orchestra as scenes from the movie were shown behind her on a big screen.
The day before, she had walked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere for Mulan, which is based on the 1998 animated film of the same name.
The film, directed by New Zealander Nikki Caro, stars Chinese actress Yifei Liu, 32, who ironically was born in Wuhan, where the coronavirus COVID-19 originated.
She plays a young woman who disguises herself as a male warrior in order to save her father.

The song’s success and her command of her upper register won her a recording contract with RCA and the song was later included on her debut eponymous album.
Aguilera re-recorded Reflection for the Mulan remake as well as the new song, Loyal Brave True.
