Matthew Broderick’s sister Rev. Janet Broderick tests positive for coronavirus … as activities at her Beverly Hills church have been suspended

The sister of actor Matthew Broderick, Rev. Janet Broderick, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Janet is a reverend at the Beverly Hills, California-based All Saints Episcopal Church; the church said she was hospitalized in stable condition after the test, and battling severe pneumonia.

Janet recently traveled back from Louisville, Kentucky where she was at the Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes, according to the church.

‘As you may know, our Rector, Janet Broderick, took ill shortly after returning from the annual conference … which was attended by more than 500 Episcopalians from around the country,’ the church said in a statement, according to CBS LA. ‘As you also may know, it was reported last Sunday that the rector of Christ Church Georgetown in Washington, D.C., an attendee of the conference, was diagnosed with the Covid-19 coronavirus.’

The church said that Janet assessed, then ‘moved to the ICU and placed under isolation,’ when the positive test came back Wednesday.
