Jordana’s outing comes a week after she was spotted on set of the ninth Fast & Furious.

But the film has been the latest big release to be pushed back, as Hollywood rushes to react to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez film was due to hit screens in May 2020, but has now been delayed to April 3 2021, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Thursday morning.

The Fast and Furious movies are always big earners at the domestic and international box office and the absence of F9 will impact the 2020 box office in a major way. The past two films have made over $1 billion.

Jordana’s character, Mia Toretto, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel)’s sister, appeared in the Fast And Furious films from the first in 2001, but was written out of the eighth film.

To her fans’ excitement, she is set to make a surprise return in the latest movie.

Jordana’s character Mia Toretto was last seen at the end of 2015’s Furious 7, which was re-worked heavily due to the tragic death of Paul Walker while production was still ongoing.

Brewster was among many of the Fast & Furious cast members to be spotted rerecording footage last week, which also included Tyrese Gibson.
