Married At First Sight bride Aleks Markovic was accused at Wednesday’s dinner party of getting close to another man behind her husband Ivan Sarakula’s back.
And Mishel Karen – who was with Aleks on the night she supposedly met the mystery man – has since revealed an important detail that wasn’t mentioned on the show.
Mishel, 49, told the Not Here To Make Friends podcast that they’d actually bumped into Ivan on the night in question at Sydney’s Coogee Pavilion.

The two women were attending an event for the Serbian community when they saw Ivan at the same venue with his own friends – but Aleks completely ignored him.
‘It was a little bit unfortunate, we rocked up to Coogee Pavilion and [Ivan] was there,’ Mishel explained.
‘I think Aleks knew he was there, and Ivan thought we’d hang out with him but we’d met all these new friends, we were hanging out with new guys and a girl and having drinks. They were showing us a lot of attention.’

Mishel described the situation as ‘terrible’ and said she felt sorry for ‘poor Ivan’.
‘It was quite heartbreaking, he did come up to me and say, “Look Mishel, this isn’t right,”‘ she added.
Mishel explained that Aleks had received plenty of male attention at the Serbian event, including from a ‘guy that had a Ferrari’.

The Serbian event was discussed at Wednesday’s dinner party, after pot-stirring groom Michael Goonan claimed that Aleks had gone on a date with another man.
Michael blurted out: ‘When I was in the lobby [of the couples’ apartment building] yesterday, she was coming back from a date with a bloke.’
He claimed Aleks had described the Ferrari-driving mystery man as ‘super hot’ and that she had plans to seeing him again.

Connie Crayden dropped another bombshell by confirming that Aleks had been ‘out with men’ during the experiment.
Mishel confronted Aleks about the cheating rumours at the dinner table.
‘Michael is lying! I was raised with integrity, I wasn’t raised to tell lies!’ she said, as a humiliated Ivan sat silently next to her.
